At the club meeting, Lake Assunpink was chosen for the location of the 2011 club classic, but unfortunately, due to the waterfowl season, we will not be able to get a tournament permit for that date. A list was made of the remaining lakes and 

Stewart Lake

was picked as the location for the 2011 Classic!

Cumberland County Bassmasters

Our end of the year awards presentation and meeting was held at the Centerton Country Club near Parvin's on December 1st, 2010. Plaques were given to Howard Brown for Angler of the Year and Bill Duckardt for biggest Lunker of the Year. Pictures will be posted  shortly!

Cumberland County Bassmasters will not be running a winter league this year. Please support the other winter leagues!

 Notable catches by club members:

On October 11, 2009, Jeff Stettler  fished a BASS Federation Nation of NJ Tournament, as a boater on the Delaware River with  Mike Franchetta and Al Franchetta fishing as Co-Anglers.

Jeff came in 4th place on the boaters side and qualified for the State team and will be fishing the divisional next year!

Good Job Jeff!

On the Co-Angler side, Al took 4th and Lunker (1.95) and Mike took 12th and they both qualified to fish the top six team tournament next fall.

Bill Duckardt fished Pickwick Lake in Alabama in the Stren Series Championship on November 57 2009  - On Day 1 he weighed in two bass for 4 lbs 13 oz and was in 164th place.  On Day 2 he weighed in a five-bass limit for 5 lbs 13 oz and finished in 150th place.
